Il lander InSight, o meglio il suo sismografo - depositato su Marte e amorevolmente coperto con una cupola che lo protegge da vento e variazioni forti di temperatura, ha rilevato il primo martemoto della storia... seppur debole è il primo evento registrato che è stato generato all'interno del pianeta.
Studiare i martemoti e capire la struttura di Marte potrà aiutarci a capire meglio anche come si è formata la Terra...
The InSight lander, or rather its seismograph - deposited on Mars and lovingly covered with a dome that protects it from wind and strong variations in temperature, recorded the first marsquake in history... although weak is the first recorded event that was generated within the planet.
Studying marsquakes and understanding the structure of Mars will help us to better understand how the Earth was formed...
