An Eight Bases DNA

Qualche tempo fa è stato costruito un DNA formato da 6 basi azotate (in natura sono 4) che è anche stato inserito in un batterio e fatto esprimere... ora è stato costruito un sistema con addirittura 8 lettere, chiamato Hachimoji DNA!
Un "gene" composto di queste 8 basi è stato integrato nel genoma di un batterio, copiato ed ereditato dalle cellule figlie ed espresso in forma di un RNA... aprendo nuove prospettive sia nella produzione di nuove molecole e farmaci, sia per l'utilizzo del DNA per lo stoccaggio di informazioni...
