Era nato il precursore di Internet, ARPANET, che quindi oggi compie 50 anni...
La storia è piacevole da leggere, ed è interessante come questi scienziati inizialmente non si erano resi conto di aver creato qualcosa che in 50 anni ha connesso tutto il mondo!
On October 29, 1959, a researcher at the University of Los Angeles sent the first data packet - the LOGIN command - to a colleague at the Stanford Research Institute, on the other side of California.
The Internet forerunner was born, ARPANET, which is now 50 years old...
The story is pleasant to read, and it's interesting how these scientists initially didn't realize they had created something that connected the whole world in 50 years!
