Non è la prima volta che tecnologie sviluppate dalla NASA per i viaggi o i soggiorni spaziali entrano nella vita quotidiana, ma questo è veramente particolare: un cuscino ricoperto da un materiale, chiamato Outlast, originariamente sviluppato per tenere confortevoli le mani degli astronauti nelle tute spaziali.
Se la testa si riscalda, il cuscino assorbe calore e la tiene fresca, se la testa si raffredda il cuscino rilascia il calore e la tiene calda... insomma, la testa è sempre alla temperatura corretta per un piacevole sonno senza interruzioni!
