Henry Fair ha raccolto in un libro, On the Edge, immagini delle coste americane, per documentarle prima che l'innalzamento delle acque le sommerga... nell'ultimo secolo a Charleston, South Carolina, il livello del mare si è innalzato di circa 30 cm e si prevede che nei prossimi 30 anni l'innalzamento delle acque metterà più di 300.000 case nei soli Stati Uniti a rischio di inondazioni croniche; numero che salirà a oltre 2,4 milioni entro il 2100...

Henry Fair collected in a book, On the Edge, images of the American coasts, to document them before the rising of the waters submerges them... in the last century in Charleston, South Carolina, the sea level it has risen by about one foot and it is expected that in the next 30 years the water-level rise will put more than 300,000 houses in the United States alone at the risk of chronic flooding; number that will rise to over 2.4 million by 2100...
