Non sempre il telescopio spaziale Hubble fotografa galassie lontane o costellazioni vecchie come l'universo stesso... Una volta all'anno fotografa tutti i pianeti del sistema solare, per valuterne le differenze con l'anno precedente.
E così ci troviamo con questa magnifica imagine di Giove, molto ricca di dettagli, che mostra dei colori più intensi rispetto agli anni precedenti: segno che li venti che spingono le nubi a velicità altissime si stanno placando?
The Hubble Space Telescope does not always take photographs of distant galaxies or constellations as old as the universe itself... Once per year, it photographs all the planets in the solar system, to evaluate the differences with the previous year.
And so we can view this awesome image of Jupiter, very rich in details, which shows more intense colours than in previous years: is it a sign that the winds that push the very high-speed clouds are subsiding?
