From Warp Speed to Warp Galaxy!

Siamo abituati a vedere l'immagine della Via Lattea di fianco come un bordo piatto con un nucleo glubulare centrale, ma secondo alcuni studi recenti l'immagine non sarebbe così. La nostra galassia sarebbe invece deformata, con un lato che scende ed uno che sale... una forma probabilmente dovuta a passate interazioni con altre galassie...

We are used to seeing the image of the Milky Way alongside as a flat border with a central glubular nucleus, but according to some recent studies the image would not be like this. Instead, our galaxy would be warped and twisted, with one side going down and one rising... a shape probably due to past interactions with other galaxies...
