Usando un nuovo metodo che permette di calcolare come i ghiacciai si scongelino sotto la superficie del mare, un gruppo di scienziati ha scoperto che alcuni ghiacciai si scongelano 100 volte più velocemente di quanto creduto finora.
Sembra che la causa sia l'innalzamento della temperatura dell'acqua, che si assomma all'effetto dell'aumento della temperatura dell'aria, per produrre il drammatico effetto...
