L'azienda canadese Native Shoes ha creato un paio di scarpe da ginnastica interamente biodegradabili, perché composte esclusivamente da materiali vegetali. Le Plant Shoes, questo il nome delle scarpe, hanno infatti la suola fatta di linfa degli alberi della gomma, l'interno della suola fatto di polpa di eucalipto, la parte superiore di cotone organico e bucce di ananas e la colla che tiene insieme il tutto è iuta imbevuta di olio d'oliva...
Quando sono da buttare, si eliminano nella frazione organica e si decompongono in circa 45 giorni - ma ai piedi durano di più 😉!

When they are worn out, they must be thrown in the compost bin and decompose in about 45 days - but on your feet they last longer 😉!
