La fondazione Arbor Day ha lanciato un'iniziativa chiamata Time for Trees, con lo scopo di piantare 200 milioni di alberi nel mondo entro il 2022... Oltre a ricostituire il verde perso in aree devastate da incendi, l'idea è anche combattere, almeno parzialmente, la deforestazione che ogni anno distrugge 18 milioni di ettari di foresta.
Hanno calcolato che questi alberi potrebbero rimuovere 578.000 tonnellate di inquinanti dall'aria...
The Arbor Day Foundation has launched an initiative called Time for Trees, with the aim of planting 200 million trees in the world by 2022...
