Un gruppo di scienziati ha scommesso di sì, e due anni fa ha incominciato un progetto chiamato Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) che ha utilizzato 8 radiotelescopi intorno al mondo per crearne uno solo virtuale, grande come la Terra intera.
Ha funzionato? Lo sapremo domani, 10 aprile, quando riveleranno il risultato dei loro studi...
