Il telescopio spaziale Hubble ha catturato un'altra immagine unica: le luci azzurre visibili nella parte alta della fotografia si chiamano oggetti di Herbig–Haro e sono getti di gas ionizzato espulsi durante la formazione di una nuova stella... sono fenomeni transienti che si esauriscono in alcune decine di migliaia di anni, un battito di ciglia in termini cosmologici.
In questo caso sono residui della formazione della stella SVS 13, nella nebula NGC 1333...
The Hubble Space Telescope captured another unique image: the blue lights visible in the upper part of the photograph are called Herbig-Haro objects and are jets of ionized gas expelled during the formation of a new star... they are transient phenomena that exhausted in some tens of thousands of years, a blink of eyelashes in cosmological terms.
I this case they are residues of the formation of the star SVS 13, within the NGC 1333 nebula...
