Where Do the Rings of Saturn Come From?

Il pianeta Saturno si è formato 4,5 miliardi di anni fa, insieme al sistema solare.
Mai suoi anelli? In base a dati raccolti dalla sonda Cassini durante il suo tuffo finale sul pianeta, gli anelli non hanno più di 100 milioni di anni, cioé per circa il 98% della sua vita Saturno è stato senza anelli... sembra che si siano formati in seguito all'impatto di una cometa con una piccola luna del pianeta, che ha sbriciolato entrambi!

But what about its rings? Based on data collected by the Cassini spacecraft during his final dive on the planet, the rings are no more than 100 million years old, i.e. for about 98% of his life Saturn has been without rings... it seems that they were formed following the impact of a comet with a small moon of the planet, which has crumbled both!
