50 anni fa, il 21 dicembre 1968, partiva la missione Apollo 8, la prima a lasciare l'orbita terrestre. Durante i 6 giorni passato nello spazio, e le 10 orbite intorno alla Luna, gli astronauti hanno ammirato per la prima volta la Terra nella sua interezza e hanno scattato una fotografia al nostro pianeta, intitolata Earthrise...
Oh, e la Terra è sferica, non piatta 😉
50 years ago, on December 21, 1968, the Apollo 8 mission took off, the first to leave Earth's orbit. During the 6 days spent in space, and the 10 orbits around the Moon, the astronauts admired the Earth for the first time in its entirety and have taken a picture of our planet, entitled Earthrise...
