Un gruppo internazionale di ricercatori, insieme alla NASA, ha scoperto un cratere con un diametro di oltre 30 km sotto il ghiaccio della Groenlandia.
Il cratere dovrebbe essere stato provocato da un meteorite che ha colpito il pianeta meno di 3 milioni di anni fa, ed è stato poi lentamente ricoperto da neve e ghiaccio, fino a diventare invisibile... tranne che ai radar!
An international of researchers, together with NASA, discovered a crater with a diameter of more than 30 km under the ice of Greenland.
The crater is probably due to a meteorite that hit the planet less than 3 million years ago and was then slowly covered with snow and ice until it became invisible... except for radar!
