Syncells

Al MIT di Boston hanno sviluppato un metodo per produrre cellule sintetiche (syncells = synthetic cells) composte da due strati di grafene (un composto del carbonio con uno spessore pari ad un atomo) che includono microscopici componenti elettronici.
Questi piccolissimi robot possono poi essere utilizzati in sciami per rilevare le condizioni di un condotto dall'interno o del corpo umano, una volta iniettate nel circolo sanguigno, rilevando sostanze chimiche o altri parametri per poi fornire le informazioni ad un sistema esterno...

At the MIT  in Boston, a team of researchers developed a method to produce synthetic cells (syncells = synthetic cells) made of two layers of graphene (a carbon compound with a thickness equal a single atom) that include microscopic electronic components.
