Due ricercatori del MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) hanno scoperto che molti oggetti comuni intorno a noi (finestre, angoli, foglie) si comportano da fotocamere mostrando ciò che hanno intorno, anche se con variazioni di luce 1.000 volte inferiori a ciò che l'occhio umano può percepire... con gli strumenti giusti, però, diventa possibile ricostruire queste immagini e vedere, per esempio, dietro un angolo con strumenti non sofisticati, semplicemente interpretando le ombre che appaiono sulla strada... Dev'essere per questo che la DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) ha lanciato un programma da 27 milioni di dollari!
Two researchers from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) discovered that many common objects around us (windows, corners, leaves) behave like cameras, showing what is present in their surroundings, even if with variations of light 1,000 times lower than what the human eye can perceive... with the right tools, however, it becomes possible to reconstruct these images and see, for example, behind a corner with unsophisticated tools, simply interpreting the shadows that appear on the road... It must be for this reason that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) launched a $ 27 million program!
