The Planets Closest Approach

Saturno e Marte sono stati, rispettivamente il 27 giugno e il 27 luglio, nel punto più vicino alla Terra, ovvero in opposizione al sole.
Il telescopio spaziale Hubble ha approfittato di questa opportunità per fotografare i due pianeti: su Saturno è estate nell'emisfero settentrionale, mentre su Marte è primavera in quello meridionale.
In entrambi i casi sono visibili residui, e su Marte anche qualcosa in più, di grandi tempeste...

Saturn and Mars were, respectively, on June 27 and July 27, at the point closest to the Earth, in opposition to the sun.
The Hubble Space Telescope took advantage of this opportunity to photograph the two planets: on Saturn, it is summer in the northern hemisphere, while on Mars it is spring in the southern one.
