Ötzi Last Meal

Ötzi, la Mummia del Similaun, fu trovato nel 1991 al confine tra Italia e Austria. Il corpo mummificato di quest'uiomo preistorico era particolarmente ben conservato, e in tutti questi anni è stato studiato a fondo, sempre facendo attenzione a preservarlo nella maniera migliore...
Ma una cosa mancava: il suo stomaco! Almeno fino al 2009, quando è stato trovato spinto appena sotto il polmone, eseguendo una radiografia.
Da allora si è cominciato lo studio del contenuto, che è stato finalmente pubblicato: l'ultimo pasto di Ötzi era costituito da carne e grasso di stambecco, carne di cervo rosso, piccolo farro e tracce di felce; un pasto equilibrato e preparatorio di una lunga camminata...

Ötzi, the Similaun Man, was found in 1991 at the border between Italy and Austria. The mummified body of this prehistoric man was particularly well preserved, and in all these years he has been thoroughly studied, always taking care to preserve it in the best possible way...
