Alberi che illuminano le strade di notte, invece di luci elettriche... È quello che sta studiando un team di ricercatori danesi, che vorrebbe inserire negli alberi un gene ricavato da un'alga che le permette di brillare nel buio.

Così, invece di consumare energia elettrica, avremmo luce consumando... anidride carbonica!

Trees that illuminate the streets at night, instead of electric lights... This is what a team of Danish researchers is studying, they would like to insert a gene from algae into trees, allowing them to glow in the dark.

In this way instead of consuming electricity, we would have light by consuming... carbon dioxide!
