Il 5 maggio è stata lanciata dalla base aerea di Vandenberg, California, la missione InSight (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) della NASA. La missione, che ha lo scopo di studiare la sismologia di Marte, raggiungerà il pianeta tra 6,5 mesi, con una previsione di atterraggio il 26 novembre, e studiera i martemoti per circa 2 anni.

On May 5 NASA InSight mission (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The mission, which aims to study the seismology of Mars, will reach the planet in 6.5 months, with a landing forecast on November 26, and will study the marsquakes for about 2 years.
