Gli astronomi hanno identificato vicino al centro della nostra galassia migliaia di buchi neri con le dimensioni comprese tra 5 e 30 volte quelle del Sole. Questi piccoli buchi neri sono dispersi in un raggio di circa 3 anni luce di distanza da Sagittarius A*, il buco nero supermassivo posto al centro della Via Lattea. Si fonderanno con lui per ingrandirlo ulteriormente?
Astronomers identified near the centre of our galaxy thousands of black holes with sizes ranging between 5 and 30 times those of the Sun. These small black holes are dispersed in a radius of about 3 light years around Sagittarius A *, the supermassive black hole located at the centre of the Milky Way. Will they merge with it to make it even bigger?
