TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) è partito. Tra 2 o 3 mesi sarà operativo e ci aiuterà a scoprire nuovi esopianeti che orbitano stelle distanti da 30 a 300 anni luce dalla Terra.
TESS è un telescopio spaziale ed è il successore di Kepler, ma molto più moderno!
Kepler ha scoperto più di 2.600 esopianeti, ora tocca a TESS...

TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) took off. In 2 to 3 months it will be operative and it will help us discover new exoplanets orbiting stars between 30 and 300 light years away from Earth.
