Ligeia Mare

Grazie ai dati forniti dalla sonda Cassini, prima del suo inabissamento su Saturno, si è scoperto che la sua luna Titano presenta un "livello del mare": cioè i suoi mari presentano un'elevazione media, mentre i laghi si trovano a vari livelli, come sulla Terra. Inoltre è l'unico altro luogo nel sistema solare che presenta masse di liquido stabili sulla superficie.
Peccato che siano mari e laghi di idrocarburi liquidi...

Thanks to the data provided by the Cassini space probe, before its sinking on Saturn, it was discovered that its moon Titan has a "sea level": that is, its seas have an average elevation, while the lakes are located at various levels, like on Earth. It is also the only other place in the Solar System that has stable liquid masses on the surface.
Too bad they are seas and lakes of liquid hydrocarbons...
