The City of the Future

Come immaginate la città del futuro?
Alphabet, l'azienda "madre" di Google, ha creato Sidewalks Labs, che sta sviluppando un modello di città per migliorare la qualità della vita; avrà caratteristiche particolari: un sistema di trasporto automatico e condiviso, senza vetture di proprietà dei singoli, case e palazzi costruite con flessibilità, infrastrutture disegnate per ridurre al minimo l'impatto ambientale, servizi di sanità locale e, naturalmente, wi-fi onnipresente :-)
Il primo esperimento sarà a Toronto, dove un'area di 325 ettari sul fronte del lago sarà rinnovata secondo questi parametri, dando vita al quartiere Quayside...

How do you imagine the city of the future?
Alphabet, Google's mother company, created Sidewalks Labs, which is developing a city model to improve the quality of life; it will have special features: an automatic and shared transport system, without individual owned cars, houses and buildings built with flexibility, infrastructures designed to minimize environmental impact, local health services and, of course, ubiquitous wi-fi: -)
The first experiment will be in Toronto, where an area of 325 hectares on the waterfront will be renewed according to these parameters, giving rise to the Quayside neighbourhood...
