Stephen Hawking, il famoso fisico inglese, ha reso disponibile la sua tesi di dottorato del 1966 sul sito dell'Università di Cambridge. Con il titolo "Properties of expanding universes" (Proprietà dell'universo in espansione), la tesi è scritta a macchina, con le formule scritte a mano, e ci mostra un piccolo spiraglio della mente dell'allora ventiquattrenne scienziato.

Stephen Hawking, the famous British physicist, made available his 1966 PhD thesis son the Cambridge University site. Titled "Properties of expanding universes", the thesis is typewritten with hand-written formulas and reveals to us a small twist of the mind of the then twenty-four-year-old scientist.

"I hope to inspire people around the world to look up at the stars and not down at their feet..."
