Dopo l'opportunità offerta nel 2015 (827.000 richieste pervenute), la NASA offre a tutti una nuova possibilità di spedire il proprio nome su Marte: infatti fino al 1 novembre si può inserire la richiesta sul sito dell'ente spaziale americano. La NASA inserirà un secondo microchip con incisi i nomi di tutti coloro che ne faranno richiesta sulla navetta robotica InSight che verrà lanciata a maggio 2018.

Following the opportunity offered in 2015 (requests received), NASA offers everyone a new chance to ship their name to Mars: in fact, until November 1, you can enter the request on the US space agency site. NASA will etch the names of all those who will request it on a second microchip and put it on the InSight robotic spacecraft due to launch in May 2018.
