Analizzando immagini riprese con il telescopio spaziale Hubble, scienziati che seguono questo studio hanno valutato che è possibile che alcuni pianeti del sistema TRAPPIST-1 possano avere acqua sulla superficie. In particolare i pianeti E, F e G che, orbitando nella "zona abitabile", potrebbero averla in forma liquida.
Ma al momento è solo un'ipotesi, ancorché plausibile...
E poi bisogna vedere se l'atmosfera c'è ancora...
Analyzing images shot with the Hubble Space Telescope, scientists running this study estimated that some planets in the TRAPPIST-1 system may have water on their surface. In particular, the planets E, F and G that, orbiting in the "habitable zone", may have it in liquid form.
But at the moment it's just an educated guess...
And then we have to see if the atmosphere is still there...
