A Day on Saturn

Mentre la sonda spaziale Cassini continua la sua missione verso il Gran Finale, fornisce dati sorprendenti; per esempio il fatto che il campo magnetico del pianeta è quasi perfettamente allineato con l'asse di rotazione.
Questa osservazione è sorprendente e in contrasto con le teorie relative alla formazione dei campi magnetici planetari... inoltre la mancanza di inclinazione non permette di osservare oscillazioni magnetiche nell'interno del pianeta, e quindi determinare la lunghezza del giorno.
Perciò ancora non si sa quanto dura un giorno su Saturno...
