Ooho!

In questi giorni è circolata la notizia di Ooho, un nuovo modo per distribuire l'acqua potabile, completamente biodegradabile e divertente, alternativo alle bottiglie di plastica. Si tratta di una sfera trasparente piena di acqua da bere, composta di sodio alginato, che viene pubblicizzata come "Water you can eat!" (Acqua che puoi mangiare!).
Ora, la notizia è sicuramente interessante, ma Ooho non è una novità: infatti era già stata pubblicata nel 2014 e nel 2015... c'è persino un video su YouTube che mostra come crearlo in casa...
La vera novità è che nei giorni scorsi Skipping Rocks, l'azienda produttrice, ha raccolto poco meno di un milione di Euro su una piattaforma di crowdfounding per passare ad una produzione su larga scala... Vedremo bolle colorate anche da noi?

Now, the news is certainly interesting, but Ooho is not new: it was described already in 2014 and 2015... there's even a video on YouTube showing how to create it at home...
The real news is that in the past few days Skipping Rocks, the manufacturing company, raised just under a million Euros on a crowdfunding platform to move to a large-scale production... We will see coloured bubbles also at our place?
