A Computer in a Cell...

Un team di scienziati della Boston University ha trovato il modo di programmare delle cellule e far loro eseguire istruzioni logiche, quasi fossero computer. Qualcosa di simile si era già visto in passato, ma in questo caso sono state utilizzate per la prima volta cellule umane, in particolare di rene.
I ricercatori sono riusciti a programmare 109 different set di istruzioni, che vengono messi in azione automaticamente in risposta a stimoli ambientali...

A team of scientists from Boston University found a way to program cells and let them perform logical instructions, as if they were computers. Something similar happened already in the past, but in this study for the first time human cells were used, in particular cells from kidney.
