Da qui l'idea di un team di ricercatori del MIT, che ha prodotto una supercolla in idrogel, composta per oltre il 90% di acqua, con una forza incollante di circa 1.000 joules per metro quadrato... e che, per la sua composizione, è biocompatibile e quindi potrebbe essere utilizzata anche per scopi medici...
