Exiled from the Rest of the Universe

Un buco nero è un posto esiliato dal resto dell'Universo.
Perché niente può uscirne, e quindi ciò che entra rimane intrappolato senza possibilità di comunicare con l'esterno... e pensare che Einstein non ha mai creduto che fossero reali, anche se la sua teoria della relatività ne prevedeva l'esistenza.
Però tra circa un anno potremmo assistere a qualcosa di incredibile: il pasto di un buco nero! Infatti il buco nero Sagittario A, al centro della nostra galassia, sta lentamente attirando una nuvola di gas verso di sé, e tra circa un anno questa nuvola dovrebbe raggiungere l'orizzonte degli eventi, dandoci la possibilità di osservare per la prima volta un buco nero che ingoia qualcosa...

A black hole is a place exiled from the rest of the universe.

Because nothing can get out, and so what enters remains trapped and unable to communicate with the outside world... just think that Einstein never believed that they could be real, even though his theory of relativity provided for their existence.
However, in about a year, we could see something amazing: the meal of a black hole! In fact, the Sagittarius A black hole, at the center of our galaxy, is slowly attracting a cloud of gas toward itself, and in about a year, this cloud is expected to reach the event horizon, giving us the opportunity to observe for the first time a black hole swallowing something...
