Le meraviglie del mondo animale... un piccolo parassita, leucochloridium paradoxum, compie parte del suo ciclo vitale nelle chiocciole, che si infettano entrando in contatto con il guano di uccelli, ed in cui si posiziona nei tentacoli, facendoli diventare dei millepiedi stroboscopici... inoltre, il parassita trasforma la chiocciola in uno zombie, e la costringe a salire in cima alle piante. Lì gli uccelli vedono questi millepiedi e corrono a beccarli, scambiandoli per uno dei loro cibi preferiti... e qui comincia la seconda fase del ciclo vitale del parassita, che infetta gli uccelli e si posizione nel loro intestino, cresce, si nutre e produce dove, che verranno espulse con il guano...
E tutto ricomincia!
Wonders of the animal kingdom... a small parasite, leucochloridium paradoxum, fulfills part of its life cycle in snails, which become infected by coming into contact with bird droppings, and in which it crawls into the tentacles, making them similar to stroboscopic caterpillars... Furthermore, the parasite transforms the snails into zombies, and forces them to climb on top of the trees. Once there, the birds see those caterpillars and run to catch them, mistaking them for one of their favorite foods... and here begins the second phase of the life cycle of the parasite, which infects birds going into their intestine, where it grows, feeds and produces eggs, which will be ejected with droppings...
And then it all starts again!
