Qualche giorno fa, mentre mancava circa un mese al termine della sua missione, Rosetta è riuscita a scattare una foto a soli 2,7 km di distanza dalla cometa 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko.
In questa foto è apparso finalmente il lander Philae, che si credeva perduto per sempre, e invece si era solo incastrato in una crepa del terreno dove non riusciva neppure a ricevere la luce solare necessaria per ricaricare le batterie...
Ora Rosetta può atterrare tranquilla...
A few days ago, less than a month before the end of its mission, Rosetta was able to take a picture just 2.7 kilometers away from the comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko.
In this photo the lander Philae finally appeared: it was believed to be lost forever, but instead it was just stuck in a crack of the land where he could not even get the sunlight needed to recharge the batteries ...
Now Rosetta can land more quietly...
