La New York Public Library ha costruito... un treno! Per l'esattezza, un trenino, che ha il compito di trasportare i libri dall'archivio, dove sono custoditi, alle sale, dove i lettori ne fanno richiesta.
Ha una lunghezza di quasi 300 m ed è composto da 24 vagoni rossi, ognuno dei quali può trasportare fino a 13,5 kg di materiale: un sacco di libri :-)
The New York Public Library built... a train! To be exact, a mini train, which has the task of transporting the books from the archive, where they are housed, to the halls, where readers requested them.
It is 950-foot long and it is made by 24 red wagons, each of which can carry up to 30 pounds of material: a lot of books :-)
