La missione Juno ha effettuato il primo passaggio orbitale vicino a Giove il 27 agosto. Raggiunta una distanza di 4.200 km dal pianeta, ha attivato tutti i suoi strumenti e registrato dati che stanno ora arrivando sulla Terra... entro un paio di settimane dovrebbero essere rese pubbliche le prime immagini...
Juno mission executed its first orbital flyby near Jupiter on August 27. Once reached a distance of 2,600 miles from the planet, it activated all its instruments and recorded data that are now being downlinked to Earth... within a couple of weeks the first pictures should be made public...
