Mentre le Olimpiadi si approssimano alla fine, sono state già assegnate molte delle 2102 medaglie che verranno date in totale agli atleti. Alcuni risultati sono in linea con le attese, altri sono delle sorprese inaspettate, ma soprattutto sono medaglie che premiano lo sport.
