Inoltre, UGC 1382 presenta le stelle più giovani all'interno, al contrario di come dovrebbe essere - infatti una galassia si accresce verso l'esterno, quindi è qui che ci si aspetta di trovare le stelle più nuove: l'ipotesi è che questa galassia sia nata dalla fusione di altre due di età diversa, ma è tutto da dimostrare...
