Checking the BEAM

Dopo essere stato montato e pressurizzato, il modulo BEAM è stato aperto oggi per la prima volta e c'è entrato l'astronauta Jeff Williams che ha effettuato i primi controlli. Quando saranno finiti, BEAM diventerà parte della ISS per due anni, per studiarne la durata e la resistenza nello spazio, in vista di viaggi molto più lunghi, in futuro...

After being mounted and pressurized, the BEAM module was opened today for the first time and astronaut Jeff Williams entered to perform the initial checks.
