SPHERES

Diciassette anni fa, in una classe non molto lontana...
Più precisamente una classe del MIT, dove un professore chiese agli studenti di progettare tre droidi come quelli di guerre stellari (ma senza armi...) da utilizzare sugli shuttle o sulla ISS per svolgere diversi compiti... erano nate "SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold, Engage, Reorient, Experimental Satellites)" che ora festeggiano 10 anni di attività sulla ISS...

Seventeen years ago, in a classroom not that far away...
More precisely, an MIT class where a professor asked students to design three droids similar to the ones seen Star Wars (but without weapons...) to be used on the shuttle or on the ISS to carry out different tasks... "SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold, Engage, Reorient, Experimental Satellites)" were born, and they are now celebrating 10 years of activity on the  ISS...
