Veleggiando nello spazio... la NASA sta testando una nuova tecnologia che porterebbe ad un sistema di propulsione più veloce di qualunque cosa esista finora.
Oltretutto il sistema non utilizzerebbe alcun tipo di carburante, in quanto la spinta arriverebbe dal vento solare, grazie all'interazione dei protoni emessi dal nostro astro, che viaggiano a circa 500 km/sec, con dei lunghissimi fili di alluminio, spessi 1 mm e lunghi circa 20 km, disposti a raggiera e tenuti in posizione dall'accelerazione centrifuga dovuta alla rotazione della navicella...
