Immaginate una macchina fotografica più sottile di una moneta: FlatCam...
FlatCam riesce ad essere così sottile perché, a differenza delle macchine tradizionali, non ha lenti. Cattura le immagini sfruttando una griglia posta davanti al sensore ed il principio della camera oscura, poi un programma rielabora i dati per ricostruire l'immagine.
La piccola dimensione rende possibili usi finora impensabili, soprattutto se il costo non sarà eccessivo...

Immagine a camera thinner than a coin: FlatCam...
FlatCam manages to be so thin because, unlike conventional cameras, has got no lenses. It captures the images taking advantage of a grid located in front of the sensor and the darkroom principle, then a software elaborates the data to rebuild the image.
The small size makes it possible uses unthinkable previously, especially if the cost will not be excessive...
