L'ONU a EXPO 2015 non avrà un proprio padiglione, ma una presenza orizzontale, che attraversa tutta l'area espositiva, indicata da 18 cucchiai blu giganti, che simbolizzato altrettanti spazi dedicati. La scelta del cucchiaio sta a significare, una volta di più, il legame strettissimo tra ONU e l'argomento dell'EXPO: cibare il mondo.

The UN at EXPO 2015 will not have its own pavilion, but a horizontal presence instead, spread throughout the EXPO site, indicated by 18 giant blue spoons, symbolizing the correspondent dedicated space. The choice of the spoon means, once more, the very strong binding between UN and EXPO theme: feed the world.
