Dall'aprile 2018, tutte le auto in Europa dovranno essere equipaggiate con il sistema eCall: un sistema che, in caso di incidenti, chiamerà automaticamente il numero di emergenza.
La commissione europea pensa che eCall potrà salvare centinaia di vite ogni anno, grazie ad interventi più rapidi, anche in quei casi in cui il conducente è incosciente... e c'è chi si preoccupa di quali dati verranno trasmessi e della privacy... Per me, se si potesse salvare anche una sola vita, ne varrebbe la pena.
From April 2018, all cars in Europe must be equipped with the eCall System: a system that, in case of accidents, will automatically call an emergency number.
The European Commission estimated that eCall could save hundreds of lives every year, thanks to quicker interventions, van in those cases where the driver is unconscious... and there are people worrying about the data transmitted and the privacy... To me, if even only one live could be saved, it is worth it.
