Controllare arti artificiali con il pensiero sta divenendo possibile, ma finora richiedeva un intervento chirurgico per impiantare delle componenti elettroniche nel cervello dei pazienti... non particolarmente esaltante... Ora invece l'università di Houston ha messo a punto un metodo che utilizza un "cappello pensatore", in grado di captare l'attività cerebrale e convertirla, attraverso un'interfaccia cervello-macchina (Brain-Machine Interface - BMI), in comandi per la protesi.
Magari non il massimo esteticamente, ma preferibile ad avere qualcosa impiantato nel cervello... e chissà come sarà poi veramente un apparecchio del genere, se verrà commercializzato...

Maybe it's not the top fashion, but still preferable to having something implanted in one's brain... and who know how such a tool will be in reality, once and if it will be commercialized...
