50 anni dopo, la marcia di Selma non è ancora finita.
Il presidente degli Stati Uniti, Barak Obama, ha ripercorso ieri il tragitto della marcia pacifica che dalla città prese il nome. Una marcia per i diritti di tutti, perché non essere razzisti dà più diritti a tutti.
E, come Obama ha ricordato, il razzismo non è ancora sconfitto, quando un razzismo sembra scomparire, subito un altro ne appare, ugualmente forte, se non di più.
E tutti vanno combattuti.
50 years later, the march of Selma is not yet over.
United States President, Barak Obama, followed yesterday the same route of the pacifist march that took the name from the city. A march for the rights of everybody, because not being racists gives more rights to everyone.
And, like Obama remembered, racism isn't yet defeated, when a racism seems to disappear, immediately a new one comes into sight, equally strong, if not more.
And all must be fought.
