War Is Over

Quest'anno è il centenario dell'inizio della I guerra mondiale.
Ma la guerra, fortunatamente, è anche finita... l'11 novembre di quattro anni dopo. È giusto ricordare anche la fine, oltre che l'inizio, pur se non è il centesimo.
La pensano così anche a Londra, dove un'installazione d'arte, intitolata "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red", ricorda tutti i militari caduti durante la prima guerra mondiale, piantando un fiore di ceramica per ognuno in forma di una cascata sanguigna che esce dalla Torre di Londra.

This year marks the 100th anniversary from the beginning of the First World War.
But war, luckily, ended over, too... on November 11, four years later. And it is correct to remember the end, in addition to the beginning, even if it isn't the 100th.
So they think in London, where an art installazione, titled "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red", remembers all soldiers fallen during the First World War, placing a ceramic flower for each of them to form a bloody water fall coming out of the Tower of London.
