Dopo essere atterrata sulla cometa Churyumov-Gerasimenko il 12 novembre, la sonda Philae non è riuscita a ricevere sufficiente energia solare per ricaricare le batterie e, dopo avere inviato una serie di dati, si è appisolata... Speriamo che avvicinandosi al sole i suoi pannelli solari ricevano più luce e che riesca a risvegliarsi per generare e trasmettere più dati.
È già un grandissimo successo, ma sarebbe un peccato se finisse qui...
After landing on Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet on November 12, the Philae lander couldn't receive enough solar light to recharge its batteries and, after sending a series of data, fell asleep... Let's hope that when the Sun will be nearer the solar panels will receive more light and that it could wake up to generate and transmit more data.
