In Argentina sono state trovate ossa di quello che si pensa sia il più grande dinosauro esistito nella preistoria: il suo femore è alto come un uomo, e basandosi sulla misura delle ossa ritrovate i paleontologi stimano che avesse una lunghezza di circa 40 metri (poco meno di metà di un campo da calcio) ed un'altezza di 20 (circa come un palazzo di 7 piani). Il peso? Intorno alle 77 tonnellate, circa 14 elefanti africani... Per fortuna non era carnivoro...
In Argentina the bones of what is thought to be the largest dinosaur ever existed in prehistory have been found: his femur is as high as a man, and based on the measure of the unearthed bones, scientists estimate that it was 40 meters long (130 ft - almost half of a football - soccer for the Americans - field) and 20 meters high (65 ft - about a seven-storey building). The weight? Around 77 tonnes, or 14 African elephants... Luckily it wasn't carnivorous...
